Have you ever thought of “This routine is boring, let me take a break” and took enough break and still felt like taking a break again so that you don’t get plunged into that same routine again?
This situation is called “Zoning out”. And I was out of the zone for almost 2 weeks until I read and researched enough about the so-called word “MOTIVATION”.
And I have come to a conclusion. I am sure that I am not alone here. Almost every individual needs motivation frequently. If not daily, at least weekly once? So it’s a pleasure for me announcing you that every Monday I will be posting posts as “MONDAY MOTIVATION”.
And I also assure you that it won’t be a boring as-usual motivational blog. Each and every week you will experience a different kind of motivation.
Motivation is a vast topic to discuss. In this post you will know where do we get motivation, what are its types, and self-motivation.
WHERE DO WE GET MOTIVATION:
We may watch may motivational videos or read motivational posts. But where this motivation actually comes from? Does it come from the videos we watch or the posts we read? Somewhat…to an extent. But where the core heart of motivation comes from?
For example, You may watch a motivational video, there a person will talk like: “Hey, are you experiencing XYZ feelings? Then this is the video you want to watch”. We may find it relevant and watch or read it. While we are watching or reading that post or video, psychologically we will think that they are depicting exactly the same what you are experiencing. But what happens, in reality, is they will be covering only 10 out of 100 percent of our problem. The fact is that whatever 10 percent they are depicting, that is real. So we see no flaws in their speech or posts. What about the remaining 90 percent.
Does motivation really come from outside? Seeing a motivational post or watching videos will help only for the moment you watch them. After that, you won't give a shit about that. So does this kind of motivation help us throughout our journey?
Motivation comes from you. Only you can motivate yourself.
TYPES OF MOTIVATION:
Intrinsic motivation occurs when someone loves doing something without forceful action.
For example, You need the motivation to complete your homework because you love doing it on your own to improve yourself.
extrinsic motivation occurs when someone does because of external force.
For example, You need the motivation to complete your homework because if it is not completed the tutor may give your punishments.
SELF MOTIVATION:
The best motivation is
self-motivation!
These are some of the tips for getting self-motivated:
1 Analyse what are all your stress factor (for now) or demotivating factor that stops your productivity.
2. List down all the to-do lists whichever you want to do but couldn’t. (Either in your mind or in a paper)
3. Trick your mind by telling just for 10 minutes. Put your soul and body completely into work for just 10 minutes. (Eventually after that you will prolong to do for some more time)
4. Sort down your to-do list in order from small to big tasks.
End Of the Day even without your knowledge you will complete all your pending works with the help of your self-motivation.
