Make your favorite sweet Kaju Katli at home

                            KAJU KATLI

Ingredients:

1.       Cashew nuts      – 200 gm                 

2.       Sugar                    - 100 gm

3.       Milk powder      – 30 gm

4.       Water                   - ¾ cup

5.       Ghee                     - 1 tablespoon

 

Procedure:

  1. Take 200 grams of cashew nuts and powder it into fine particles.
  2. Heat the pan. Add 100 grams of sugar and add ¾ cups of water and stir it well until it gets completely dissolved and comes to one string consistency.
  3.  Lower the flame and add the finely powdered cashew nuts to it and stir well. The mixture should be smooth without any lumps.
  4.  Transfer the cooked Kaju katli mixture to a greased plate immediately. Let the temperature get down.
  5. Grease your palms and knead the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. With the help of a rolling pin, roll the mixture as you do for chapatti.
  7.  Let it cool down completely and cut it to desired shapes. Your homemade Kaju katli is ready.
