We are here to cherish and live our journey from start to destination. But how many of us are really enjoying the journey as we live? Due to some external factors, we forget one main internal factor to thrive, that is to love. Yeah, I could hear some people yelling mindstate. But please, ask this question a trillion times to yourself. "Am I in love with the life I am given?" If yes, I request you to close this blog page and move on to other topics. But if no, kindly skim this blog. This post is for you.
Valentine's day, a day allocated for a sole purpose that is to convey how much we love someone, colorful lights, candlelight dinners, hanging out for the best places, on cloud nine every minute of this day, exchanging gifts and so much more. But is that is all about this day? Why can't it be a day to discover something within us? We of course love us, but the challenges we face in our life activate the dis-love-your-life mode. The best you could do to love yourself is allocating time. In this time analyze the way you live, your deeds as well. Work hard, run for a living, but don't forget to love yourself. Why compromise? I had been a person of compromises, for which I used to suffer more, than the times I had cherished. Compromising and adjusting will give you inner pleasure, I know. But not every time. So stop compromising yourself and do the things you love.
Don't force yourself. Travel more, just because you love doing so, not because your peers travel. Exercise, just for your satisfaction, not because someone told you to do so. Earn more money, to satisfy yourself and for your family's needs, not because your partner/colleague earns more than you. Save money, for you to explore more in your 80's, but don't consider that as a compulsion saving for your generations, instead provide them the knowledge to earn for their lives. Gift yourself often, go for solo trips, satisfy yourself, put yourself first, fantasy, and love yourself.
Once you are done with the course of loving yourself, find someone to share your love with. Have a fantabulous Valentine's day. Stay loved.
